CHALLENGE

The University of North Florida started with 25-30 various utility vehicles on campus. They struggled to find qualified cart service technicians and were facing logistical challenges affecting their budget due to an aging fleet, cart malfunctions and maintenance downtime.

SOLUTION

The National Carts team worked with UNF leadership to develop a cart leasing program that included on-site preventative maintenance and scheduled service.

RESULTS

UNF alleviated their maintenance headaches and traded in many of their aging carts for credit toward their new leasing program. Now they have 160 utility units in their fleet at a fixed cost, giving them the flexibility to plan annually with a clear budget projection. With routine repair, their equipment remains more reliable and effective.
